Friday 2/20/09 – Morning

Labs are continuing to go down daily, which is good (WBC 21,400; Creatine - 5.5; BUN – 103). He was on 55% O2 for several days and yesterday they were able to drop it to 50%. Today it’s down to 40%. The resident Dr. states that Don is young and strong. He’s responding well to the dialysis. Once dialysis stops they will consider removing the respirator since he’s beginning to breathe more and more on his own.

  1. Hello Don, Tamara, Brett and Caleb,

I see that you continue to get good reports from the docs and labs which is good news. I will pray with my mind and with my spirit that these continue to come and that Don's body will come into alignment with God's Word and the prayers of faith of the saints. I have been speaking to the mountain of his kidneys, immune system, lungs, heart and electrolytes. 1 Peter 2:24 - who Himself bore our sins in His own body on the tree, that we having died to sins, might live for righteousness - by whose stripes you were healed has been my prayer. I will keep in touch with Linda to see what your needs are and how I can help.

  2. It must have perked Don up to be described as young and strong. I think I saw him smile proudly at that! And maybe flex his muscles a little.
